I was hit with this dreaded bug a number of hours ago. Normally the problem self clears with time. This time it would not clear, even when l toggled logout and login, tried different browser. As it were, it seems like there is a physical limit on the length of a private message thread. If there are too many back and forth replies, the error will show up and won't clear. The solution is to simply start a new message thread. Just an FYI for everyone using the private message system.

how many back and forths did you get to?

you might want to make a not of this in the community issues sticky that was created.

I agree that a sticky might be in order, however, we have seen several people report that they can't send PMs, even on the first try. Seems strange that there would be two unrelated issues regatrding PMs.
