Data Connection + LTE vs Voice Call Quality

I dont use data on my phone.

So I have Data Connection> Off

But beause of the above, LTE next to signal bar also disappears.

I have heard that some networks use VOLTE.

I was wondering if LTE has any effect on the quality of my voice calls.

If yes then dont mind turning on the data.

@NuYearNuMobile VoLTE is not available on PM. LTE symbol will disappear when you have data turned off. So when you are on a call, it will always route through 3g network.

PM probably wont have volte anytime soon.

Maybe their bigger pier brand would have it.

Just a FYI, mms require a data connection, even if you don't have a data plan. So turning off data will disa le your ability to receive send mms.

Just to confirm, as of now voice call on PM will be purely on 3G.
