So I just wanted to let everyone know so you can stop paying those pesky unlock companies to unlock your Samsung Device.

If you are looking to have your device unlocked for free then I have 3 simple steps for you.

1: Visit Samsungs Official Website

2: Scroll to the bottom and click Live Chat

3: Simply ask the Live Chat Attendant to help you unlock your phone.

Thats it! Its really that simple, all they ask you for is your imei and they will come back with your unlock code!

I am not sure to what extent they are able to do this but I know for sure it works with S6, S7, S8 and only for Canadian Subscribers.

To complete the unlock process on your end after talking to Samsung

If you have a SIM card from another provider

Remove your SIM card and insert the new SIM card

Connect your Galaxy to WIFI and do a hard restart it

Follow the setup process indicated on your device

It'd be wise to do a backup before all of this as well, just in case
