All roaming packages are through one-time add-on purchases.

I’ve no access to phone or data in the USA despite having it included in the $50 plan. Roaming on. Any ideas?

That $50 plan you mention will only work from Canada. You can call USA from anywhere in Canada. If you want service whilst in USA, you need a US Add-on available for 10 days at a time.

No roaming is included in any plan..you must purchase roaming add ons....
