Voting now open for Best Canadian Carrier - Customer Service

While wireless service providers might not be known for customer service, Canada’s telecoms have been making efforts to improve their relationships with customers. Thanks to social media, national telecoms, regional players and up-and-coming carriers alike have all started to take note when customers raise important concerns.
Continuing with our inaugural Readers’ Choice Awards, this week we open up voting for the Canadian carrier who has the best customer service.

It might not seem that way, but Canada has a large number of wireless service providers. Between national brands, regional providers, and flanker brands, there’s more choice than one would think when it comes to carrier selections.

Lol, this article gives the false impression that Canada has the most competitive cellular landscape in the world. Yet, nothing can be further from the truth. Fake competition with all the flanker brands.

It's time for real competition. Let's open the our market to the US and Europe. 🙂

It is really the big 2.5 or 2 depending on how you do the arithmetic. Telus and Bell operate like the are one.

Personally, I think it's time to make everything publicly owned. We built the cable and telephone systems with public money back in the day, then sold it off for big business to hose us later.

Hmmm.... sounds like the Ontario Hydro problem here... however in that case, it was private to begin with, made public years ago (100+), and then broken up bit by bit so it costs way too much now.

Believe it or not, government can work for the people.... but you need the correct government.

Mobilesyrup makes me want to puke. Seriously, listing all flanker brands like as if they are all separate carriers lol. The sad part about this is that a lot of people still don't realize this. I still have to explain this to a lot of people

I have to respectfully disagree. I cannot speak for other provinces, but I can say with certainty the Ontario government cannot be trusted to manage a p___ up in a brewery. They are so corrupt and innept.

I'm sorry, but in the case of Ontario Hydro, the government kept the company public (after they purchased it) long ago, and kept the rates at 4 cents/kilowatt hour for 90 years. Those rates changed when the Mike Harris led Torie government came to power, and started selling off asset to make small profit for the Government (representing the people of Ontario), and allowing the corporate world who said "we can do it better" to over charge us, raising rates continually.

This has continued through the then led Liberals by Dalton McGinty, and now Kathleen Wynnne.

Rates now are in excess of 40 cents/kilowatt hour, and tha's happened in the last 20 years (approx).

The BC Liberals ( Tories in disguise ) tried their level best to do the same to BC Hydro before getting tossed out in the last election. Hopefully, the newly elected NDP Minority Government can salvage things before it is too late. Once it is in private hands, get ready for really massive cost increases just like in Ontario.
