International Ethiopia calling

Can anyone tell me my husband is traveling to Ethiopia in a few weeks. It’s not in the listed countries for international call add on. So does that mean I can not call.....

Correct. But he can call you with whatever other service.

You cannot call from your PM number...he can call you from Ethiopia and you'll get the call.

@Jenna536 Correct, if the country is not in the list, you cannot call, but you can text if you both have international texting.

Of course. Just like any phone service. It's just a plain ol' toll free number.

Public Mobile doesn't have such a thing but you can look around at retail outlets like 7-11 or others to see if they have a calling card you can purchase. Good luck.

@Jenna536You would have to look at the specifics of the calling card you bought. If he has data while he's there you may be better off using something like What's App.

Just FYI, cell and data reception in Ethiopia is poor even in the capital, but should be okay at a decent hotel in a major city.

Best and cheapest way is to use VoIP calling options such as Skype or WhatsApp using wifi or LTE connection.
