Hello, im leaving soon for a trip to Panama and just wondering if there is an add on that will give me coverage there?

No. PM has US roaming add-on only. Look for local SIM card when you arrive.

Before you leave, setup WhatsApp with your family. Everyone in your family need to install WhatsApp on their cellphone. You can send messages over WiFi to family as soon as you get WiFI connection.

While PM has great packages for roaming in the US, it doesn't in Panema.

If you have an unlocked phone, you will need to purchase a local SIM or perhaps iroam.

You could also use an application like that from fongo.com. It provides free calling across Canada from wherever you are connected to wifi, or cellular data. They have international calling for fee as well. While you are away you could call your Public Mobile number from Fongo to retrieve messages.
