I have set up a public mobile account for her and obtained a PM SIM card and set up an account for her. I receive a “sim not supported “ message saying Public Mobile is not a supported carrier. Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

Report the phone as found and then turn the phone back on again.

If this doesn't work you can make a payment to the account of $1.
