There is no option for a specific date, other than the following:

1. Immediate change, at the time of selection. You will pay for a full plan change, and lose all remaining service(s) on the current plan.

2. Change plan on the renewal date. This will 'lock-in' for the date of your next renewal. In this specific case, it will be the date later date.

The earlier date (by 1 day) should be considered as the last date to have money preloaded to the account before allowing AutoPay to charge your card.

I typically have done immideate plan changes a day ahead instead of trusting the system to do it properly. Yes I lose a day but I don't risk no service. This only works though if the plan you want is still available.
