In your case PetroCan. Have you asked them? I know you think the phone is unlocked but the evidence suggests otherwise.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What is your phone and model? Is it a Samsung by chance? Often Samsung phones come unlocked and are locked to the first dim that is inserted.&amp;nbsp; You can call Samsung and get the code from them&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It is locked to Rogers/Fido/Chatr/Speakout/711/Petro Canada etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You will need to get an unlock code to enter on the screen before you can use this phone at Public Mobile.&amp;nbsp; Never assume that a phone is unlocked like that.&amp;nbsp; Yours isn't.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This actually has nothing to do with Public Mobile, and unfortunately, they cannot help you with this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To get this phone unlocked you will have to contact Ztar (Petro Canada) to get the unlock code.&amp;nbsp; I suspect that Rogers or Fido could also provide the code for you, but it's probably easier to get it from Petro Canada as you are/were their customer.&amp;nbsp; This would be free.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The alternative is to buy an unlock code from a seller on ebay, kijiji, private unlocking store websites, or cell phone repair shops.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
