      <description>&lt;P&gt;What do you mean that I'm on wifi.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My Wifi is generally always on. &amp;nbsp;I just tried sending a picture message and it says sending for the past 2 minutes. &amp;nbsp;Do I have to be connected to wifi to send or recieve mms messages.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also when I get a MMS it says to download it, but nothing happens. &amp;nbsp;it seems to timeout&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It does not matter if your wifi is on or off. Data must be turned on in order to send and receive mms.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try deleting that apn settings&amp;nbsp;and adding a new one.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sorry, I meant to say make sure that the mobile data is on.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I know some people sometime, turn off mobile data when wifi is on.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also on some older phones I have noticed that if you have both wifi and mobile data on at the same time, mms doesn't go through unless the wifi is turned off and mobile data is on. Used to happen to me on iPhone 4s&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If you have the dual SIM model try the other slot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, I had a quick look for your phone's network specs and there may be a problem.       <description>I had the same problem with my Freedom Mobile phone. My data did not work on PM's network. I had to do a factory reset and then it worked perfectly. Just be aware that you may lose some information if you don't back up the contents on your phone. Good luck.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Same&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Same problem here. Tried solutions above, and it's not the first time. I think previously I had to change things in the access point settings but I'm not sure what. I did update the APN as suggested above, as well as reset network settings , and multiple restarts. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm not super techy so the suggestion to check it against telus'wikipedia page went over my head - wasn't sure exactly which settings I was supposed to compare against theirs.
