The best way to get your phone to work on public Mobile is to buy a unlocked phone and pop your sim card in if your phone is not unlocked then the Free way to unlock your locked carrier is to call the company and ask for a sim network unlock code

@zazbot420 the phone can be locked to Telus or koodo.

Also not all unlocked phones will work. Only phones that have the frequencies that Telus supports.

If you read through the forum you will find many instances of phones from China missing the nessiary band causing limited or no service.

There are some models that supposedly won't even work on the Public Mobile Network even if it's unlocked because of the frequencies the phone is capable of.
