Ready-Made Plans - texting included?

I noticed that most of the plans (ie $30/30 days) have Unlimited Talk Canada-wide and Unlimited International text. This may be a silly question, but is unlimited Canada-wide Text included in these plans? My current plan clearly outlines that I have Unlimited Canada-wide text. I would like to switch to another plan, but don't see this feature listed.

International is just a way of saying that you can text to anywhere.

What are you trying to achieve? There's a couple data-only plans and one talk-only plan. The rest have international texting.

Or is that terminology from another carrier and you're wondering about Public Mobile?

That’s right, unlimited international texting is actually a step up from just unlimited Canada-wide.

You get unlimited texting Canada-wide as well as internationally.

@chilly33, unless you are a legacy customer with some sort of plan that differs from the ones that have been available for many years now, the texting has always been international text. I am not even sure that legacy plans had only Canada wide text. That said, you could send a text to an international number to see if it works. If it does, you have international text. If it doesn't, it's not like you will be charged extra for trying.

@will13am you're not thinking back far enough. I'm not sure what the options were for the legacy plans, but when I got my first pick-and-pay plan when i joined PM in fall 2015, there were TWO options (other than no texting) available: unlimited canada-wide texting, or unlimited international texting. The former only allowed you to send texts to Canadian cell phone numbers, while the latter was identical to what's on offer now (as the only texting option).

@chilly33, when selecting the ready made plans in SelfServe, you’ll want to review the details section of each to confirm what is included in each of them.

Ive noticed the name of some of them do not fully describe what is or is not included.
