Does anyone know how to fix this problem?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are you sure that you Moto G5 is locked to your old carrier?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It does not hurt to ask the carrier for unlock code as you don't have to have a plan with them in order to get it unlocked.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After inserted your PM SIM card to Moto G5, did it ask for unlock code?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Phone 100 percent has to be locked to another carrier. Locked phones don't ask for a code. Hope you got this figured out.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
