A few things to check as some people may have already suggested

- Check your coverage area, if you are at the edge of a service area for PM that might cause your issue. Fido is with Rogers and Public mobile is with Telus so depending on the area tower coverage may be less

-Did you Program the access point name appropriately? I had to manually put in the information for Public mobile (the telus one appeared automatically but you need to insert the public mobile access point)

- Did you check your phone compatibility with public mobile prior to setting up? You can check this on the site?

Just joined Public Mobile and having problems with network. Keeps going on and off constantly. Tried to switch off wifi but still doing the same. With Fido never had such problems. Is it because of weak signal on 3G?

Have you checked the coverage maps? Are you on the edge of a service area? I would think if your fido works good that this would not be the cause, but it is worth checking. As it does it in both your phones, the S5 and I assume a newer phone I would be looking into the SIM, but I am not sure how or if a faulty Sim could cause that issue.
