He got charged $128.82 because 13% tax was added ($120-$6 + 13% tax). Self-serve payment history doesn't show tax charged.

Late payment issue?

Hi all,

I'm asking this for my boyfriend's account.

So April 30, 2017 was his due date, his account is set up for auto-reload. Credit card ended up having issues, so we used another card to pay the morning of May 1, 2017. His account was suspended for the couple hours. We kept the new credit card number for auto-reload, and paid his $114 balance. There was no other option to pay more money than what was the balance ($114). However we're now noticing a pending $128.82 on the transaction, yet on his payment summary it only shows $114.

Should I just wait a couple days to see if $128.82 was taken out as an insurance thing? His bill is $120 for the 3 months, without the $6 auto-reload discount, so would he have lost that $6 discount? Has this happened to anyone else where they were late to a payment and had their account suspended for a couple hours?

Thanks for the responses 🙂

Let me explain the calculation.

$120 - $6 autopay = $114

$114 x 13% tax = $128.82

That's the correct amount you were charged.
