New SIM card, SOLO 112 network, no signal

Hello,

I have an PM account, lost my phone, so:

- got a replacement phone (Motorola Razr V3 - old model -but verified it works with PM with IMEI),

- purchased a new SIM card, got it on the mail

- pluged it in the phone

- changed to my new SIM card in my account, but my phone shows "SOLO 112" network shows in the screen.

- and no bars (no signal) shows on the screen either.

My account online shows as ACTIVE.

How long until this works, or is there a missing step??

Is that LTE phone 
check on http://willmyphonework.net
see if it's compatible 

Motorola razr v3 doesn't look compatible it's showing only 2g network

Also if you go on network setting do you see public mobile on network search

My phone is an old Razr V3 (flip phone - non-smart).

It supports Quad Band GSM (supports 850/1900)

With the PM SIM it only sees the Rogers network.

but I had check with the PM site, and with the IMEI, and this phone was listed....

Am I set up for a disappointment?

FYI, the IMEI checkers are only useful for verifying whether the phone has been blacklisted (i.e. stolen). For checking compatibility with PM, you're better off using the site http://willmyphonework.net/ that @Samianauman mentioned.

It's missing the frequency it won't work with public mobile not a chance at all

With 100% certainty, the Motorola Razr v3 will not work with Public Mobile. It is a 2g GSM only phone, a network type that Public Mobile (Telus) does not even have.
