when ppl sent me message, I need to download it before view the msg contents. Does anyone here know why? I didn't have to do this when I was with Wind on the same phone.

Hi what phone are you using? are you talikng about picture messagesMMS ? or just sms? in your title you wrote SM (not familiar with that term) also have you switced messaging apps?

@tqlam This shouldn't occur for regular text messages, but it may occur for picture messages. Try checking the settings on your messaging app. Try clearing the cache of the messaging app as well to see if it helps.

Hi, it's SMS. my phone is ASUS zenfone 2 and I use the default message app with default settings. As said, I use the same before switched from Wind and didn't see the same issue.

sometimes it happens when you go in and out of coverage area, i would reboot the phone and see if the problem persist, then i would reset the APN settings.

Type of phone, type of message/attachement, has it ever worked on PM, etc.?

I am not personally bothered with it. It never happened with wind before as well but now on PM when receiving an MMS it asks you to download it and it doesn't do it automatically. I am using a Galaxy S5

This is likely not a PM issue as my iPhone sends/receives photos without a separate download. When I was using Fongo for messaging outgoing pictures messages went as a downloadable link. So, perhaps it's an issue with sender and not you. If you want to experiment send me a private message with your phone number.

You just might need to tweek a setting.
