iPhone Plus iPad

So I just moved to PM with my iphone (and things went smoother than I expect). I use to have an iPhone and an iPad shared data plan with Rogers. Now that my iPad has nothing on, is there a way to purchase a shared data plan that my iphone and iPad share?

Not that I am aware of. Your best bet is to hotspot using your iPhone.

@siuolly you could simply thether your iPad to your iPhone and use the same data plan, or as I assume your iPad is SIM capable, you could simply purchase a DATA ONLY plan for it.

There are no shared plans at Public Mobile, no matter what devices. The FIDO option above may be a better option if you want 2 separate plans.

^^This, it's a great deal right now (well... at least you'll be getting ripped off the least with this deal.

Wish PM would give us a discount if I purchase a SIM with data only while we already have a SIM with text+talk. Right now, getting a SIM with data only is expansive.

Unfortunately Public Mobile doesn't offer shared plans.

Your options are list above.

Tether from the iPhone or get another data plan just for the iPad. The Fido and Virgin Mobile 3GB plan is great.

The Fido and Virgin plan has catches.

1. Fido - requires you to be an existing post-paid client.

2. Virgin - you need to purchase a tablet from them.

Your best option is to use tethering. That's what I do.

My dad/sister signed up for the fido $15/3gb plan back in sept/oct as new customers. It went without any problems, mostly. Though I strongly recommend you create your own fido account before you do it instead of having them create it for you that complicated things for us. Virgin on the other hand I don't know if it's for existing only.
