You can suspend your service after you lost your phone by going to Self Serv -- Lost/Stolen Phone. There is a button to suspend your service.

When you have a new sim card, you can simply restore it by going to the same page. 😄

Can you suspend your plan if you were to say lose your phone from your account, then unsuspend it after you find your phone again? I know you can do that with wind I believe curious if public mobile can do the same. This is just to prevent someone from using your number and wasting your data if it were stolen. Note I did not lose my phone I am just curious in the event that it happened I'd like to beable to temporarily suspend my phone right away, then unsuspend it with ease.

One thing to note: I'm pretty sure that once you suspend your account, if you want to re-activate it you do need to get a new sim. So if you find your phone again after losing it, you'll still need to get a new sim. The old one can't be reactivated.
