      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/58417"&gt;@Karen596&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;what rectifying steps have you tried?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Usually this boils down to one of 3 things, in approximate order of likeliness:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) Phone not compatible with Public Mobile.&amp;nbsp; Unfortunately the IMEI checker on PM's site is not very accurate and often produces false positives.&amp;nbsp; Please verify on &lt;A href="https://www.willmyphonework.net" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.willmyphonework.net&lt;/A&gt;, or post the brand and specific model number here and we can help verify compatibility.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) Phone locked to previous/original provider.&amp;nbsp; If you purchased it from a provider prior to Dec 2017, it's probably locked to them.&amp;nbsp; Locked to Telus or Koodo is fine--locked to anyone else you need to contact them to get it unlocked before you can use it here.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3) If both of the above are not the cause, it's usually an activation/provisioning error and you will need to contact the moderator team for asssistance.&amp;nbsp; Please verify #1 and 2 above first.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
