Wind/Freedom pocketing pro-rated credits?

Anyone that was previously on Wind/Freedom pay after having issues getting pro-rated credit back from final bill?

Has been over 6 weeks now nothing in the mail yet

Same, I was issued nothing from my last bill in return. I had nearly half a month remaining of prepaid service.

After I cancelled, they told me it would take 6-8 weeks for a refund cheque to be sent. They were not kidding -- just got my refund cheque on Monday, approximately 7 weeks after porting over to Public Mobile.

@canucks4life, I asked about this issue and received the following response via e-mail:

Should this final bill be issued with a credit owing back to you, you will get that as a refund cheque to the mailing address on file within 8 weeks of your cancellation date.

Just finally received my cheque in the mail today go figure...bah humbug!
