If you've been waiting a long time for a reply. I t couldn't hurt to check your private messages, because you won't get a notification unless you set it up that way. Please also check your junk email.

I've seen many people realize later that PM has been trying to message them, but they never checked their messages.

Yeah really, of all the reasons for prolonged lack of cell service, this one is the most unnecessary and aggravating.

I don't remember what the default for e-mail notifications is when we first create a community account, but it should be notifications on, just because so many people are signing up for the purpose of getting help.

Default Community settings:

- Subscribe to threads where I post: on

- Email notification of private messages: off

where is the setting option for private message notifications? i cant seem to find it .

I am at settngs->subscfriptions and notifications ->notification settings.

should i be looking somewhere else or did i miss a setting on this page?

Go to My Settings -> Preferences -> Private Messenger

Not sure if this will link correctly for you but try this:

https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/user-preferences%3Aprivate-messenger

Remember to click Save after you tick the check box for e-mail notifications.
