I have a wifi plus data capable iPad, original data plan, its own phone number, its own SIM, not renewed through telus, way too expensive. Can i set iPad up with Public Mobility’s SIM card on its own separate data plan?

Yes, but there is no data only plan. You would have to buy the $15 plan or more and buy add on data.

You can set it up with data but PM no longer offers a data only plan.

at public mobile not have separate data plan,

the have call /Text /data.

you can review 6 Plans (publicmobile.ca)

@Sjm58...PM isn't really designed with any data only plans. You could just upgrade your current PM plan to the amount of data you want...then tether your ipad with hotspot feature.

Would that work for you ?

How much data is used after using Wifi on iPad?

If it is always used by you while off Wifi then you can use tethering, else taking the minimum PM plan and adding required data every now n then as the add-ons dont expire until they run out.
