PM i believe will adjust your billing cycle to when the port is complete. this means you will not be paying for two services. your old provider will prorate your last bill.

Suggestion to fix porting issue!

I've been waiting for over a week for PM to complete my port. I haven't been receiving calls or text from anyone... and I need it for business and personal purposes.

I put my old sim back in and realized that it works. My question is, if I log in to my account for PM and change my number to a new number and then recharge it to the current number I have now, would it let me do the port process again? Or would I lose my number. Cause my old SIM card is active with my number as of right now, so it isn't ported over yet.

My situation is that my PM sim only works for data and outgoing calls. All incoming calls and texts cannot be received and it has been like this for over a week now. I just want all my features to work since I did pay for the service...

Glad that old number works.

What exatly is your situation?

Did you initiatte a port on sign up

did you get a new number then start a port

Did you ask PM to initiate the port (typically telus/koodo customers)

What number shows up when you call out from you PM sim?

my suggetsion in most of teh above would be to use your old sim and messge the moderators with your porting issue. you dont want to start porting.repoeting a number might cause bigger issues.

It's partially ported, a failed port. You'll definitely need a mod to fix it for you.
