      <title>Frustration (Fido Porting)</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am currently "STILL" a fido user.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Recieved a PM card and activated with a new number. Then I tried many times that have my Fido number to be transfered over, but failed so many times.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;New PM card and number is perfectly working, but is there anyone can actually help me to transfer the number?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I feel hopeless, and honestly very disapointed that there is no one I can reach for help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone??&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If I'm not mistaken, it could be the credentials you are inputting into the fields are incorrect.&amp;nbsp; You might need to contact Fido.&amp;nbsp; Eliminate some of the non essential answers.&amp;nbsp; Just put Number, IMEI, Account Number and maybe alternate number.&amp;nbsp; And the exact Authorized user name of the account.&amp;nbsp; If one of them is incorrect, it will not transfer.&amp;nbsp; It will state fail.&amp;nbsp; Remove Alternate Number.&amp;nbsp; It will be trial and error.&amp;nbsp; It happened to me as well.&amp;nbsp; I put info in the additional section and that was causing the porting error.&amp;nbsp; I also removed the Pin&amp;nbsp; and the port compeleted.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;And, I also abtained my IMEI number by using *#06#&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but still failed. Tried both of my names "Bi Ci Xu" and "Bici Xu" both failed.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Remove the Old Account#.&amp;nbsp; Then try again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try again, add the account number from fido remove the dashes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try only IMEI, Alternate number and your account name as you see on your fido bill&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You have to play around with the fields.&amp;nbsp; If you call Fido, you can confirm with them if you have an alternate number and if the one you displayed is correct or not.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>The old provider won't have an alternate number. It's just any Canadian number really. Has nothing to do with the old provider</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I think account # is the best one the use out of three (multiple users and PM themselves have said so). So try account # by itself if you can.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
