I ported a number last Saturday but it didn't go thru, my PM number can call but not receive and I have data, incoming calls are still going to my Rogers. Rogers number is still working so I'm good since I still have a working phone. I have pm'd the mod, I know PM is swamped and might take a while to resolve the issue. My question is, how will I know it's been resolved? I'm assuming it would be when my Rogers SIM is not working anymore?

You are right, when the port is finished, your rogers number will not work anymore.

hi

you will receive a text from PM saying, that port was successful..in addition your rogers account will close automatically ( no need to call and cancel ) and by then you will also receive calls and texts via your PM network..

cheers

Not only will you receive a text message from Public Mobile telling your everything is done, as well as incoming calls and texts starting to work with your Public Mobile sim card, your Rogers sim card will also stop working.
