new account on old sim card from public mobile

Hi there, I just changed my old account to a new sim without problem. Now, I want to activate a new account on the old sim card but when I try to do that, it saids invalid sim. How do I do this? The old sim is a public mobile sim card. Thank you.

From my understanding, you are unable to re-use old SIM card. One time use only. You will need to buy another new SIM card.

From what I can gather, this industry sees SIM's as expendable. Once an account is no longer active with a particular SIM, that SIM becomes spent and no longer usable for anything. Wasteful yes.

If you want, Walmart and London drugs has a free SIM card promotion right now. However, you will need to active instore. But, you will also get $25 credit and regular $10 friend referral... If you live near a Walmart....
