    <description>&lt;P&gt;Ported from Rogers to Public. I have an Essential Phone. Put in new Sim card. booted up and showed Public Mobile in top left hand corner then went. Cant create account as I cant verify a text message that does not get to phone? Any help&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It might be lose / not properly installed. Most of the NO SIM CARD error or SIM CARD NOT DETECTED occurs when the SIM card is &lt;STRONG&gt;not inserted properly or loose&lt;/STRONG&gt; so that cell phone won't recognize SIM card.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have you tried to reconnect manually to public mobile under "mobile network settings"?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you just ported, it takes some time, every hour or so remove your battery / restart your phone. It can take time on your first port over.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the issue continues you may have a partially completed port, sometimes ports just take a bit longer.
