Hello. When I shut my phone off (periodically), I have run into the following issue. Texts that were sent me while my phone was off only appear timestamped "now", i.e. the exact time that the phone was turned back on. Obviously I would like it to show when the text was actually sent.

I am using an Essential PH-1...don't know if that is relevant.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Someone correct me if I'm missing a phone / OS feature here, but I think that is just the nature of the beast - the time stamp on the phone is indicating when the phone received the message.

You can always cross reference it with the usage history in your self-serve account.
