There was a thread about a landline port where the first persons' FIL also posted something with another id.

Unless they leave in disgust, might be something to look out for.

Sometimes, it's difficult to know whether someone really is asking a question or just trying to pad the post count and if that same person is just logging in with a different account and answering his/her own post to receive bravos. When we start seeing the same questions over and over, especially when it's of the most basic type of question, we can't help but get suspicious. I've been seeing people replying to months old and year old threads that haven't been replied to in forever, only to have the user post the same message (in maybe 5 to 10 threads) multiple times, as if that accomplishes anything.
