Fantastic Price Data Bucket / Speed / Roaming Plan!

PM is offering the $30 package again - even to higher cost plan subscribers.
I wasted no time switching to it today for "Next Renewal"
I barely use 5Gb/mo of my $35Gb 75GB Can-US-Mx Plan and never use any of the 1000 LD.
Was offered it for Black Friday but I forgot to do it and after Cyber Tuesday they ended the offer...

As always, this is account specific. Unforutnately, this plan is only avaialble to some customers and I can confirm that it's not available to some other customers, including myself.

If you don't me asking which plan do you have currently and are you actually looking to switch to it?
Offers have always varied based on which package you have and rarely allow a decrease in monthly cost with a decent package offer... Why I snapped it up quick this time.
I have a $18/mo 4G 1GB/mo plan for my mom and the $29/mo 20GB 5G Can-US-Mex is available for her and was there for Black Friday but not in my account nor is the $30 30Gb/mo plan offered to her...

I'm on a 100GB Canada/US/Mexico plan. There clearly are some rules based application of offfered plans, but I've given up trying to figure it out. Often, a member will think that it's all figured out but I'll see a plan in my account that shows the assumptions about how it works as incorrect. I often see posts making inaccurate claims that there are no plan price downgrades or that certain plans are excempt. The truth is that the only person who can know for sure if a specific plan is avaialble is that specific customer.

Absolutely Agree!
I have had great luck with PM since switching early 2023 from Fido.
Very happy with Pricing / Speeds / Service / Coverage / Roaming
A few road bumps as is the case with any carrier!
Had decent luck asking for plans by Private Messaging CSAgent that were not offered directly...
But I have found that depends on Agent - Day - Accout... Hit and Miss...

Barely used 2GB of my 20 GB plan during the last billing period. Hoping for a nice Boxing Day surprise.

I have the $34/60gig plan which is the only one in that list that has UNLIMITED data, albeit throttled after you use up your 60gigs - still able to stream my roku though, even with the throttled speed.

I kknow there have been other offers with unlimited data, a friend has one that's 80gigs and I think she pays $38/month (plus tax et al). My son used to have a 100gig plan with unlimited, not sure if that's available at all anymore...I really must say I greatly dislike that all plans are not available to everyone/anyone (other than the new subscriber carrots). I really don't get the personalized targeted offerings, with other subscriptions not being available to me (for example) because why?

The logic escapes me...yet another thing PM has changed, and not for the better.

That would be a great offering for many subscribers!
Don't think I have ever seen a US-Mex Roaming Package under the $29 10Gb/mo. or 20GB/mo. price point... Anyone seen otherwise or been offered such a deal?
If away for 2 weeks the $29 10Gb or 20GB plan could be a bit tight and also was never offered to me.
The 30Gb offering leaves an extra buffer I could maybe see myself hitting while away and considering the plan INCLUDES Canada - US - Mexico Roaming with no access or daily usage fee... reliable service on Telus / T-Mobile / TelCel at no extra cost...
It's a no brainer for me now that it is being offered to me!
My Public Mobile Wishes if anyone is listening are:
1. Incoming SMS worldwide for 2FA
2. EU long distance calling included in International Minutes
3. Worldwide WiFi calling(Telus only offers WiFi calling within Canada)...
Not holding my breath and have found workarounds...

I believe I remember your packge being offered...
I believe that package does not include US-Mexico roaming...

I have not seen many unlimited packages offered as of late....
I could see that being a cost risk especially with Roaming...
Also would think abuse and network congestion could become issues locally...

I don't think there's any unlimited with the US/Mexico roaming...I am actually greatly ANNOYED at the subscriptions offering huge amount of data, but all of them are US/Mexico etc etc.

Is there really that much demand for these services??

My simple rule of thumb is that I don't subscribe to something that I will NEVER use just to utilize one attractive part of the offer.

As I'm sure you can imagine, there are very few subscriptions that interest me...my other requirement is must be 5G, and yes I'm aware 5G can be spotty sometimes, I have encountered some neighborhoods in Saskatoon where I can only get LTE, usually the ones closest to the University.

Just my experience, opinion.

Large data offerings must be popular otherwise my guess is they wouldn't be offered...
Selling higher Data packages adds to their bottom line / profit I am sure.
Bandwidth costs them basically almost nothing...
PM / Telus are For Profit Companies Can't Blame them for that.....

Can-US-Mexico Roaming may not be for everyone but even if rarely used offers seamless service...
US Roaming has been amazing for me while popping South and no per day cost...

5G - Nice speed wise if you use the speed - my guess is 95% don't use the extra speed...
Really doesn't help being on 5G network while streaming music on spotify... Only stability matters...
5G does offers more concurrent users of each cell site / more users with more data speed / handling
4G LTE is still more than sufficient and can do 150MB/s with better building penetration / coverage from each cell site...

My 2 cents worth...
