EDIT: It seems like RCS does work now as iPhone in Canada's post! Yay!

I just updated to iOS 18 Developer Beta 4 and RCS toggle is available, whether it is a bug or not, but the IMS status is still SMS & Calls, not SMS, Calls, & RCS.

Here are all of B4 images of the IMS and Messaging status. Also seems like Rogers has the toggle but the same as Public on the IMS status, in the USA - Visible and EE in the UK have the same thing as Public & Rogers.

@golfball - It is probably going to be active completely in 1 - 2 more betas, but just happy that it advanced a level with the RCS toggle.

EDIT: Just seen iPhone in Canada's post, and it does seem like RCS is Active, now going to change it!

Just tried it and it seems to still not work, but never know, it may be a Server Side Upgrade on Apple's end.

My hope is that once iOS gets with the program, companies will also start sending out 2FA codes via RCS. That will be a game changer as you don't need a roaming option from the carrier to login to critical accounts when travelling.

@will13am - Yes, Bank's and Government 2FA accounts need to have RCS or else it will be prone to hacking risks, even employees of mobile carriers may be disguised hackers as an outside hobby.

RCS toggle is available for me and the IMS Status can show up the RCS. iOS 18 b4 with eSim.

RCS is working great for me as of Wednesday, July 24! Tested it with a friend on an Android device and read receipts, typing indicators all worked perfect.

That's great, I was expecting It to be released a bit later in the year but, I'm glad. Haven't tested it out yet.
