I believe the "surprise-free" refers to additional or overage charges which some users on postpaid plans may not have anticipated seeing.

I was definitely surprised when they tried changing the $120 4Gb plan. Then I was surprised when I received texts telling me to switch to Koodo away from PM. Then I was surprised when they sent an email way back when about a new points system. I declined. Now I am surprised again that it is being forced. So does that mean I've been 100% surprise free?

You hit the nail on the head! Lots of surprises.

Hopefully the next surprise is NOT forced upping of plan cist...like they d eith Post paid plans ( the big 3).

But i guess they just manipulate our new points plan to accomplish that!

Like upping minimum conversion from 15 pts to 50. Lots of other variants open to them too.

Point systems suck!
