How desperate can competition be?

Happy Mother's Day everyone and hope you're doing well.

On Friday I had telephoned my internet provider and the issue was solved.

When they asked what mobile provider I had I told them it was Public Mobile. They then offered me a deal which was more than what my current plan is. I immediately said I wasn't interested. I really don't see the point of going with another mobile provider.

Has the competition gone as far as to offer deals which aren't even better?

hi @Angelic_Fille90 on calls like this, other than the provider desperately need your account, the agent also needs the sales quota to meet. That's why they will just offer anything and hope you will say yes

I understand they need activations, just don't understand why they don't care those left. People now move around so often and no loyalty any more
