Maybe it is a setting you enabled by accident?? something about delete pic after you backup to the cloud?

or just folder arrangement you have look into?

what kind of phone you have?

But , this definitely has nothing to do with PM network

not sure,thought I saw moto-6 pop up a couple times when I tried to get the pictures back.

some how a password got set on it and I toke it down to a tech store to have it unlocked,I noticed a couple days later the picture were missing.

Sounds like the tech factory reset your phone and if you did not have your data backed up including your photos it's all gone now. So as suggested by @softech check your Google photos and any cloud you may have set up on your phone.
