Using Whatsapp on resort in Dominican

My son has a public mobile plan and I am thinking of switching my daughter to PM as well. We are going to Dominican in December and we use Whatsapp on resort to chat or keep tabs on the kids. I know PM doesn't have international calling so I want to make sure the kids can use Whatsapp (with wifi) on the resort?

@JulesCam hi yes you can use whatsapp as long as there is wifi it really has nothing to do with Public 😀 have a great trip!!

@JulesCam Yes, Whatsapp will work as long as the Wifi is there.

Hopefully they have good wifi around the resort then you are good to go, otherwise I am sure there are cheap prepaid data options around. I am going there later this year, enjoy!
