Hey community,

I would like to see the option to add a Canada-wide unlimited talk add-on to my account.

It could work like the US Roaming add-on, basically you pay a given amount for an add-on valid for 10-20 or 30 days or unlimited Canada-wide calling.

It would be a nice addition for those on province-wide plans who work/go on vacation/etc .in another province and don't want to lose their promo plans...

This is exactly what the $8 or $15 addons currently for long distancce are for.  You need a base plan that includes voice calling (ie Province wide) then add the addon.

The minutes do not wipe out until used fully.

Yes, but these are not unlimited. I would like unlimited option. So basically the option to keep your 90-day province-wide plan while enjoying unlimited Canada-wide for a month...

Well hen you need to change your base plan.  If you're on a promo, the addons are the only way.

I've been on a promo since December, and I've got 198 minutes of 200 remaining long distance calling available since September.

That addon to me doesn't make sense when they have the LD addons available.  what are you looking to apy for the addon?  For $8 and 200 minutes so if you are away for a month that is 3hours 20 min you could be on the phone for $8 I am not on my phone that much when I am at home but that is just me.  I have been on here since November and have used 11 of my 200 minutes so far

I guess $10-15 would make sense (same price than the actual 200/400 minutes adds-on, but excluding USA/global, which are the more expensive minutes for Public Mobile).

I am regularly working in another province for 1-2-3 months, so I would be calling back home girlfriend, friends and family, as well as making calls for work during the day... will easily add up to more than 14 minutes/day...

I personally would use an app, i wouldn't want to pay more for something, when an app can do it for me for free

I'll be on the road, sometime camping sometime hotel. Usually, I find camping (if they have) and hotel wifi are good for calling only 25% of the time...

I'll also have to make multiple  calls for work during the day.

@Someone_hereWhenever I initiate a call that's a) likely longer than 15 minutes and/or b) going to a known contact I'm switching to a free calling app (like Fongo, Skype, Whatsapp), ideally on Wi-Fi. Leaving the Canada-wide minutes for incoming calls from clients etc. But obviously that's just me.

Edit: Sorry, cross posting with others...

shouldn't be spending that much time on the phone if you are camping 😛
