MMS not working on Samsung J6

I signed up for PM three days ago, activation went through, but my Samsung Galaxy J6 is not receiving or sending MMS. I have checked and rechecked APN settings, and all seems correct. I have cleared all my Apps caches. I tried downloading gosmspro to route messages through that app, and while it received a MMS, it still would not actually download the content. I don't know what else to try! Please help!

For sure! Here's the APN default settings that are working for my Samsung:

APN: sp.mb.com
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: Not set
Password: Not set
Server: Not set
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMS proxy: mmscproxy.mobility.ca

APN type: default,mms,supl,fota,hipri

I got some help from a Mod, after trying all these things we reset to default APN, nothing like the suggested APN link, and now it works! So frustrating. Thanks for trying to help!

Do you have a valid data component in your service to see if it otherwise works?

Hi, Your Data connection has to be on. Also you may have to check your APN settings again, mine had a typo. 😞   Hangouts may be a better way to send photos.  I hope you get it working.

I'll just cover the obvious...whether or not you have data in your plan, data mode needs to be on.
